Adam Flint, January 2006Good morning Richard,
THANK YOU. I will kiss your feet next time we meet. You have single handedly delivered the best car I have ever bought not only at a fair price but you found the car in ONE week.
The car in question is the sought after 500E. A car I have been looking for over two years. My search started whilst living in California. My first expedition was to see an enthusiast owned silver/black '92 car in Salt Lake City, Utah. So I set off from San Francisco on a non stop twelve hour drive in snow and sleet only to get to the owners house to see a poorly described, poorly photographed E that looked in need of a full restoration or worse, the scrapper. Since returning to the UK the fun has not stopped. Hundreds of miles driving to see crap cars. True enthusiasts have experienced the same frustration, we all have. This all changed when I got a lead to your web site. Your service is exceptional.
Everyone you referred me to has been first rate and all true Mercedes enthusiasts be that sellers or suppliers.
My newly acquired 500E will be sorely missed by its last owner and no wonder this car is A1+.
You told me all I needed to know, provided plenty of accurate photos and guess what? All you said about the car and its prized ownership was TRUE. This service is a MARRIAGE MADE IN HEAVEN. Watch out MERC fans, with a little work and some elbow grease I have myself a show winner.
Richard, do the rest of the world a favour and 1) get a better web site, 2) do some web optimization so that we can all find you quicker, 3) advertise and 4) don't limit your self to just one Marque, all enthusiasts need your help. Good luck and please do not hesitate to ask for a reference on your first rate service.
Best regards,
Adam Flint

Ian, thanks for your comments.
I am a true car nut and a Mercedes follower for ten years. My first loves were the e-types and more recently mid-year corvette stingrays (the nice ones, not the porn star cars) and have spent more than I earn either keeping the cars in great shape or putting these cars back into great shape. My last '67 vette alone cost ?40k for a full resto and remember these cars are fiberglass, the body work was only ?5k.
I've always had a Merc in my possession including many a 124 estate and fine machines they are too. I've had the replacement 124 estate and it's a bag of nuts in comparison. My 114 coupe cost 30k and I still have the NOS remains to prove that restoring a 114 is not for the faint hearted. My love ran out when the restorer fained mental illness and ran off with the kitty.
Not only am I a bad buyer/great seller but I have travelled all over the world with my work and that meant I travelled all over for my next car project. I truly have the scars to prove my endeavours.
The testimonial may appear for many as a bum licking exercise to our leader, but I can tell you that this is the first time I have never been disappointed on first seeing a car in question. I could not vouch for Richard unless he truly delivered and HE DOES DELIVER.
I've proposed to Richard that he sets-up a Merc Seller day/evening at The Grove and that we all congregate for the first of many calendar dates.
As for the car, it really is not the M5 beater they hoped for. That said drive them back to back today and the M5 would feel as though it were falling apart around you. The E is made from granite. Solid feel and incredible 6 cylinder like acceleration. It's nice to drive and is something that no one knows what you have. A true stealth missile. I love the car.
I washed and polished the car yesterday. I use the two stage Autoglym product and even after four hours work, the shine was no better than I started with. Phenomenal build quality, beautifully made interior, it's sex on a stick and no one can see what I/we see. What a find.
Push Richard for a Merc fanatics meeting.
All the very best to you and the MERCNUTS.
Adam

Steve Wogan, January 2006Dear Richard
Sorry to have not been in touch sooner but was very busy rebuilding the house and then moving.
The 124 estate that I bought in August has been going well and has proved invaluable as a workhorse.
I must say that I was really impressed at your helpfulness, experience and honesty.
It really was a pleasure to do business with you and I promise to keep in touch. Again thanks for your help and advice.
I have no hesitations in recommending you and your site to others.
Must dash, talk soon

Dear Ian
There are many more Wogans than you think, they just stay quiet for fear of association! Hope the Mercseller community is well.
Happy New Year!

Ted Robertson, January 2006Hi Richard
Just a note to thank you for finding the exact car we were looking for. We could have searched forever, had it not been for your system. The trip to London was well worth the trouble.
We now own one of the best 190E's in the country.
Once again our thanks for your excellent service.
Yours Sincerely
Ted Robertson

Rob Hunt, January 2006I engaged Richard to market my Mercedes S Class just towards the end of December 2005.
Richard initially advised by telephone and arranged a meeting a few days later to meet me in person and for him personally to see, drive and photograph the car and examine all the documents and paperwork.
Christmas came and went, and in the first week of the new year Richard had two potential buyers for the car.
The first buyer came to see the car the same evening as Richard called me, and the car was sold; funds and ownership transferred within days. It didn't prove necessary to pursue
matters with the second buyer as I was pleased for the car to go to the first buyer as I felt certain he would look after it.
Selling through Richard was easy, but any seller should be aware that Richard has expectations of both the cars he sells and the clients he deals with and that you work as a team. I supplied a comprehensive organised package of paperwork, receipts , old MOT's, service book etc and also details about classic insurance and other Mercedes information including the history of the model.
Richard dealt with and fielded the enquiry telephone calls so that I only had to speak to genuine buyers and Richard dealt with the HPI check when a sale was agreed with the buyer.
Richard is also ruthless in his advice about genuine sale values, and by taking his advice and working with him, my car was sold literally within a few days of the new year going live.

Richard@mercseller.com, December 20052005 has been another exciting year helping many of you to find nice Mercedes, as well as selling some interesting models too.
The time is soon approaching when a "new look MERCSELLER.COM website" will be launched; I will keep you all informed and updated as to when, specifically, this will take place.
I would like to thank every person (from September 2001 onwards) for their continued support and feedback and look forward to more pleasant negotiations in 2006.
I especially would like to thank my colleague Ian Dickinson in the North for his assistance over the past 12 months, as well as many other enthusiasts who have recommended my matching services.
Wishing a Merry Christmas to all Mercseller clients and a very Happy New Year to everyone who I know.

Vaughan Jones, November 2005Richard
A note to thank you for the service you provided in the sale of my 500SE. From you calling me to enquire if I wanted to sell my car on the Friday it was only five days until the agreement was concluded. This showed that you kept in touch with the fact that I had a very good car and when you had a serious enquiry from a client in search of one you were able to put a deal together. It was fast, painless and very effective - well done. Now all I need to do is find another Merc!
regards
Vaughan
