I just wanted to drop you a short note to thank you for your help with the recent purchase of a 300 SL which was advertised on the Mercseller website. Having contacted you about it at the beginning of the week an appointment to view the car had been made on the same day and we viewed the car by the following Thursday. Ultimately the decision to purchase the vehicle was mine but your experienced eye and knowledgeable input reinforced my perceptions of the vehicle and made the purchasing decision that much easier.

As you know I have been a regular visitor to the Mercseller website over the past years and for those interested in buying and selling Mercedes models of any year I have yet to find anything anywhere which quite matches it. It is clear to me from the conversations that we have had and in meeting with you that you have a real passion for the marque and I hope that Mercseller continues to enjoy success.

Thanks to this amazing website, and Richard and Huseyin, I am now the proud owner of a 190E 2.6. I can't even begin to say how indebted I am to Richard, he helped to make the purchase of the vehicle a painless and totally pleasurable experience despite my worries that it would be a veritable minefield. Warmest regards to Huseyin too, a true gentleman and the most honest and honourable person I have ever bought a car from - if any of you out there are considering buying one of Huseyin's cars (particularly the bargain 230E which I have driven in), I can only say that you won't be disappointed by it or the man!

The endless phone calls full of priceless information before we viewed the car in question would have been worth the fee on their own, I cannot recommend this service highly enough!

PS On Richard's recommendation, I took my "new" car to Bill Schrader in Billericay to have a minor matter attended to. The man is a national treasure!

URGENT MESSAGE TO CLIENTS: "Richard has been very ill in hospital"...Hi Everyone, Since last week Richard has been ill with severe stomach pains, and was taken by ambulance to hopital to have an emergency operation. His appendix was removed on Saurday after an excruciating & worrying 36 hour wait in emergency at Watford General Hospital (which I can only describe as hell on earth!)

He is now recovering back at his home/office so he has asked me to ask all of you to allow him a few days to recover from the trauma.

Needless to say, at least he's alive and still with us, having worked tirelessly for us all over the last 3 years.

He has never complained about his health before, so this was completely out of the blue.

I wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to your comments.

After 20 years of loyal service, family circumstances dictated the sale of
my 1985 280 CE Coupe. Whilst I'd always appreciated the virtues of Mercedes
I do not claim to be a active member of the enthusiast community so I called Richard for some advice to help connect me with people who would know and appreciate classic Mercedes. After some initial mentoring and comprehensive guidance from Richard, the advert went live on the Thursday, and my first viewing and the sale came on the Saturday.
